18 Stadiums. Athletes village and games precincts all over the the Gold Coast. World-class athletes and the whole world watching... Designing the look kit for the 2018 Gold Coast Commonweath Games was an enormous challenge. I was a key agency resource tasked to tackle application of the CG2018 brand to entire stadiums, city precincts, miles of raceway - all the way down to the smallest decal. Considerations were complex. How does this look from the athletes eyeline, the thousands of attending spectators, the global television audiences? The look kit of parts was successfully delivered as the blueprint for the entire games - with over 1500 artwork assets produced and guidelines that detailed brand artwork application across the event.
